Herbs - Schisandra Berry | Organic
Description
Whole organic Schisandra berries (wu wei zi) come from a woody vine found throughout northern China. They are considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs and one of the nine herbs officially classified as adaptogens, which can increase your body’s resistance to stress. The Schisandra berry is known for having five flavors simultaneously—salty, sweet, sour, pungent and bitter, making it great for tea blends or to make wines, cordials and syrups.
